General Information
- Teacher-Led Nursery:
We have a highly qualified team of experienced staff who guide the children through fun and engaging activities. Sometimes, the nursery children will spend time with Reception-aged children, which helps create a supportive learning environment for all. - Language-Rich Environment:
We focus on stories, songs, and child-led play to support your child’s development. - Lunch Options for All-Day Attendees:
If your child is attending all day, they can either bring a packed lunch from home or purchase a school lunch for £2.60.
School dinners need to be ordered online. To check if your child is eligible for free school meals, visit: Apply for Free School Meals
You can find the menu on our school website: School Menu - Snack Time:
Children are provided with a mid-morning snack, which includes fruit, a carbohydrate (like toast or crackers), and a drink of milk or water. - Clothing:
There is no uniform for nursery children. Please dress your child in clothes that are comfortable, practical for outdoor play, and suitable for messy activities. - Label Everything:
Be sure to label your child’s clothes, water bottles, and any other belongings so they don't get lost. - Rest Time:
We offer a quiet area for children who may need to rest or sleep. You can send in a favourite toy or comforter to help them settle. - Nappy Changes:
If your child wears nappies, please send in a bag with wet wipes and any necessary supplies. - Spare Clothes:
Please pack a spare change of clothes for accidents or messy play! Since we try to go outside in all weathers, please also include warm clothes, sun hats, raincoats, etc. - Weekly Blog:
We share highlights of your child’s learning, including key stories and songs, through a weekly blog on Tapestry. Please let us know if you have trouble accessing this service. Feel free to upload your own photos too!
